Site shows moderate salt marsh impairment due to restricted tidal flow. Replacement with self-regulating tide gate could restore approximately 5-8 acres of degraded marsh habitat. - Tide gate does not appear to exist. There is a bridge crossing at this location as well as some stormwater pipes discharging into the river, but no tide gate was observed. Lat/Lon coordinates were verified with the South Shore Tidal Atlas.
